Dantes is an authentic Italian pizzeria with the freshest, handpicked ingredients – right down to the mozzarella which strings its way throughout the melting pot of flavours each topping provides.

The all important base is crisped just right around the edges hiding the stretchy, fluffy inside. The sauce is first rate and most of the herbs and spices are imported direct from the homeland. The Chorizo Reale is topped with thick sizzling chunks of sausage and was hard to beat, although the Prosciutto lathered in ham looked a safe second.

Woodfired is a word that seems to get thrown around a lot in regards to pizza joints about Auckland, but rest assured Dante’s is genuinely stoking the coalface to ensure you get a true Italian introduction. Make use of the lunchtime special where all pizzas are only $18 between 11.30am and 3pm!!
