Triangle Espresso is a landmark of Ashburton’s up-and-coming Triangle District. The black building on the corner of Cass and Victoria Streets is easy to spot – a line of white outdoor seating frames the front of the building and a trickle of people swarm in and out of its doors on a daily basis.

Triangle is a favourite amongst many Ashburton locals, known for excellent coffee brewed with Allpress beans, a friendly, welcoming vibe, and honest food made on-site. The cafe is proud of catering to many dietary needs, so whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-intolerant, you’ll be sure to find a bite to eat here.

There’s plenty of space to settle down with your cup of coffee and food of choice, or if you’re on the run, the good people behind the counter can whip up a takeout coffee to enjoy on the road in no time. On top of a cabinet filled with plenty of goodies, there’s a breakfast and lunch menu full of heftier meal options.

Caring for its customers is at the heart of it all, and it’s no surprise that the majority of the coffee shop’s customers are loyal regulars. The cafe is a unique institution in the little town it calls home, and once you’ve stopped in, you’ll find yourself coming back again.

Next time you find yourself in Ashburton or en route south or north, make sure to sway from the main drag out of town and pop into Triangle Espresso. We’re sure you’ll be glad you did.
