Cheap eats don't have to come in a greasy package, a pre-made package, or any package at all; try breakfast or lunch at this delicious, healthy homemade café. Potpourri serves vegetarian cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere. They have a light menu with many healthy salad options, and also pride themselves in being vegan and gluten-free friendly.

Their “homely, honest food” attracts a wide range of diners - well-loved by families, couples, students and the elderly. The old-style building is a great place to sit with a cup of coffee and a delicious vegan scone. Explore their wide menu of cheap options with items like creamy mushrooms, vege samosas and falafel burgers. They also have a great range of cabinet food featuring calzones, pies, and lasagnes if you are in need of warming on a cold day.

We commend Potpourri for serving delicious, healthy food at a reasonable price- dining on a budget doesn’t need to be bad for your blood pressure! The price-conscious of Dunedin can abandon their search through the cheap meats. Veges never tasted so good!
