Grey Lynn’s got a new kid on the block and it’s making its mark on the burger scene.

If Korean quirk and good ol’ western burgers once bumped into each other, they've most certainly made themselves at home here on Great N’ Road.

With everything made from scratch on site (with the exception of the Artisan buns), Tiger Burger stays true to both backgrounds of this fusion cuisine. Because what is spicy srirachi if it’s not paired with double-fried chicken?

Naturally, kimchi reigns supreme at Tiger Burger – and we’re definitely not complaining. The ‘Kimcheese’ fries are mandatory (strong contenders for the best fries in town) as is the pork belly “Bossam” burger. Oh, and did we mention there’s a mighty fine selection of cocktails, vino and boutique beers if the chilli blows you away (take the double meaning and run with it).

To keep things interesting, the burger special changes on the regular – props to their take on the Big Mac that far outweighed its original counterpart.

Almost scandinavian in decor, Tiger Burger excels in all aspects of interior. With crisp white walls and wooden floors, the black Korean signage and animal prints on the wall make a statement much like their food. Traditional with a spicy twist. The 80’s & 90’s soundtrack was a treat for the ears too – because we all like some Bowie with our beer.
