Hidden away in a back corridor of the Britomart precinct, is Milse, a dedicated dessert restaurant headed up by award winning patissier Brian Campbell. Every day and night this tiny space is filled with sweet smells and teeming with people aiming to satisfy their sweet tooth.
Brian and his team craft the most beautiful sweet creations in an open kitchen, selling treats for takeaway customers while serving a variety of special desserts to a small number of diners. The menu features à la carte desserts, pastries, drinks and a degustation menu with matching wines for those wanting the whole experience.
Milse don’t take table reservations so you have to time it right or wait it out to catch a table in their dining room and bar. With sweet dishes likely to top anything you’ve seen on Masterchef, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit.
