Friends, business partners and chefs Ro Lim and Yuki Yang are the duo behind this special spot. Both come from longstanding hospitality backgrounds, and have a true passion for traditional Japanese food and friendly service. Prior to opening their joint venture, Ro and Yuki trained in L.A. under a master sushi chef, perfecting traditional ways of preparing their delicious meals.

No corners are cut here, and everything possible (right down to sushi vinegar and bone broth) is made from scratch on site using natural ingredients. All meals are made to order to guarantee freshness and to eliminate waste. Quality and sustainability is at the heart of it all at Sushiko – fresh fruit and vegetables are gathered locally, salmon comes from sustainable Ōra King farms and all packaging used is biodegradable.
