If you’re after a unique pair of glasses, that celebrate you and your individuality; then you’ve come to the right place.

Groovy Glasses is an optometry practice like no other. This is a shop that’s covered from top-to-toe in groovy design - from the vintage inspired interior, to the stars of the show: the impressive range of exclusive designer frames; many of which you won’t find elsewhere in Christchurch.

Each pair of spectacle frames on display is handpicked from boutique eyewear companies internationally. Groovy Glasses has an innate sense of style and frames that pop. Whether you love colour, inventive design, classic retro style or completely out there frames; you’ll be sure to find your perfect match right here.

The philosophy at Groovy Glasses is simple: No boring specs allowed. Think eyewear brands such as the sublime Anne et Valentin (worn by Lady Gaga), luxurious Moscot (a New York brand worn by Johnny Depp), rad limited edition frames by L.A. Eyeworks and a range of specs by NZ’s own, Kate Sylvester.

On top of offering an inspirational selection of eyewear, all the staff at Groovy are highly experienced - from the Optical Assistants and Dispensing Opticians, to the Optometrists themselves. Quality is key at Groovy Glasses, which you experience during their thorough eye examinations. They really care about you and your eyes, and want you to be able to see clearly for years to come!
