Found down a laneway in The Crossing precinct, the retail heart of Christchurch’s inner city, shopping at A&C Homestore is always a dreamy experience. Their collection of timeless pieces for your home has been sourced and designed intentionally to ensure you love them season after season, year after year.

When you visit A&C Homestore, the thoughtfully curated and paired-back space allows you to take in all the items, consider them and work out how they could fit in your own home. From luxurious linens to furniture items to everything you need to host a fabulous dinner party to a special piece to add to your wardrobe. And that’s not even mentioning the many amazing gift ideas you’ll no doubt come across as you browse (both for someone else and for you).

The brands on offer include international favourites such as Broste Copenhagen and Status Anxiety, mixed in with local New Zealand makers like Kowtow, Ashley & Co and Claybird Ceramics, just to name a few. There are also in-house designs, which allows A&C Homestore to create with their customers in mind and produce items where they have a particular design point of view.

While the shop has no shortage of beautiful home goods to sort through, it also has knowledgeable staff who you can go to for inspiration and renovation advice. Whether you need a floor plan, a moodboard, or just someone to bounce ideas off of, the service here is inviting, helpful, and eager to help you make your house a home.

Our only word of advice before you step into this retail oasis in the heart of Christchurch city? Make sure you’ve allotted plenty of time to browse and daydream to your heart’s content.
