A few steps inside Harper Inc and you know you’re in dangerous territory... Dangerous because you’ll find yourself amongst some of the most beautiful contemporary fashion in New Zealand at the moment, where leaving empty-handed is a very hard thing to do.

Proud to be a small family business, the mother-daughter duo involved are true shopaholics themselves and thought it only right to bring their passion to the streets of Hamilton.

In the store, you’ll find a heap of products from well-known designers from NZ as well as across the Tasman. Labels Marle, Kowtow, Shjark, Marlow and many more make up the flawlessly arranged hangers; denim from staples Levi’s, Rollas and Abrand line the neatly stacked shelves; jewellery from Stolen Girlfriends Club, Kirstin Ash and Beloved (curated in-house) and timepieces from Rosefield Watches sit pretty amongst other wares on the tables. If you’re in the market for a new bag (or need something extra to carry your purchases away in) they also stock Saben handbags. Hints of greenery, pretty candles and an easy sense of bubbly enthusiasm from the staff on the ground make this store hard to forget.

Ethically produced clothing is a big factor in deciding who to stock, and the fashion-forward women make sure the products are extremely lovable before letting them hit their shelves.

For modern pieces that will stand the test of time and have been hand-picked by a group of lovely locals, Harper Inc is your place to go.
