Located on, you guessed it, Harbour Street, this café is much more than you might anticipate. As a collective, it’s also home to an indoor playground, art studios, vintage shops, a gallery and a sushi bar- there’s something for all ages and interests here.

At the café you’ll find three cabinets that boast an array of sweet and savoury treats. The cinnamon scrolls - a local favourite - are topped with a generous pat of icing and can turn even the worst morning around with their comforting flavours. Add in a coffee and consider brekkie sorted.

If you’re in for lunch there’s plenty of pies, sammies and salads to pick from, too. The all-day breakfast menu is complete with eggs bennies and healthy options like the Moroccan quinoa bowl, which is constructed with free range poached eggs, kumara, spinach, avocado, cherry tomatoes and toasted whole grain bread.

Across from the cafe is Midori, the Heritage Precinct’s very own sushi bar and restaurant. They’ve got a bit of everything with sushi, sashimi, nigiri, Japanese curries and bento boxes all on the menu.

Once you’re fed be sure to wander around the place and don’t be afraid to meander towards the back of the building and up the stairs, where you’ll find even more local products and businesses on display. The Loft and Zushz both specialize in vintage and preloved clothing, and the playground is every kid’s dream. It’s got slides, climbing ropes and lots of space to romp around as parents enjoy other aspects of this unique local spot.

Come for the coffee, food shopping, art and fun and the whole family - this spot is a ton of fun at any hour.
