If a flavourful meal in a cosy, inviting atmosphere is what you’re after in Invercargill, then look no further. Bombay Palace is the kind of place that you’ll happily return to week after week.

Perched in a charming house-like setting, the inviting exterior sets the stage for an evening of friendly and warm hospitality. Dimly lit booths create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and memorable evening amongst friends, so feel free to bring the whole crew along with you--there’s plenty of room!

Offering cuisine that focuses on the culinary specialties of Bombay, you’ll be delighted to find an extensive menu with classic curries, Indian breads, sharing platters and Basmati rice dishes. Vegetarians will have no problem finding something that strikes their fancy, as the selection features more than 16 mains with plant-based ingredients.

The platters are the perfect choice for those who want to try a bit of everything the menu has to offer. The Mixed Platter for Two offers a particularly tasty variety, including a mouthwatering selection of Sheek kebab, Chicken tikka, Achari murgh tikka, tandoori chicken, Onion bhaji & Hara bhara kebab served with mint and tamarind chutney. You’ll be whisked away to India within just a few bites, and eager to venture back again and again.

If you’re happy to dine between 4:30 and 6:30, they even offer an “early bird special” where you can snag a generous portion of a large, classic curry and rice for only $16, as well as a $14.90 daily lunch special between 12:00 and 2:30 pm.
