With a menu comprising of sushi made to order, tempura, teriyaki, rice meals and noodles, there’s something for everyone, with sharing multiple plates a good choice. The temaki (hand sushi roll with avocado, salmon, cucumber, mayo and rice) is a favourite, alongside the agedashi tofu (deep fried tofu with japanese sauce), homemade gyoza (pan-fried pork dumplings) and the katsudon (deep fried crumbed pork cutlet cooked with egg and a special Japanese sauce serve on rice). The set menu is also popular if you’re having trouble deciding what to order. They use fresh ingredients and the majority of sauces are made in-house, there’s $6 Asahi, a range of sakes and wine, plus it’s BYO!
