According to some, pizza has long been one of the best foods in the land. And after you taste a slice at Spooky’s, we’re pretty sure you won’t have any arguments about that statement.
This family-owned neighbourhood pizzeria packs a punch both on the flavour front and the fun fit out of the space. Embracing a retro feel with the colourful front counter tiling, Formica tables and 50s diner-style chairs, playful artwork and smiley ghost logos line the walls. You'll find garlic oil and chilli oil bottles at each table, allowing diners to add an extra kick to their pizza if they so desire.
Those looking for a quick, hot and tasty on-the-go lunch will be thrilled to hear that Spooky’s does pizza by the slice. Whole pizzas can be ordered from the menu as either 9- or 18-inches, depending on whether you plan to eat alone or with others (or are super hungry). The sides menu boasts crunchy and salty morsels like loaded fries and wontons, and there’s even a coffee machine in the mix.
With a pizza menu that changes each month, highlighting local products and seasonal goods, on top of the handmade dough (prepared on-site, a process that takes three days), you start to understand what makes this place extra special: all of this care and attention deliver phenomenal results! So, next time you have pizza on your mind, do yourself a favour and make it a slice or whole pie from Spooky’s.
