You may not find any four-hooved animals at The Little Goat, but you will find delicious fare based on Mediterranean recipes from owner/operators Chrystalla Aresti and Derek Rolls. Once a travelling food truck, The Little Goat is now set firmly in its little spot in Cobham Court, and Porirua locals will be pleased they don’t have to look far when it comes to fresh, tasty and quick food on the go.

Chrystalla hails from Cyprus, and alongside her Kiwi partner, the duo are determined not to cut corners when it comes to authentic taste. Their super thick halloumi is specially imported from Cyprus and contains the traditional mix of milk from sheep, goats and cows, while the dips, hummus, tzatziki and sweets on the counter are all made in-house. Pita pockets with hummus, tahini, tzatziki, olives, pickled pepper and your choice of meat are a nutritious and filling lunch, although if you’ve got an exceptionally empty stomach we suggest the big burger with all the trimmings.

The recipes used here are top secret and passed down from generations before, so we can assure you that you’ll find the food here as authentic as it is finger-lickin' good.
