No worries if you didn't get a seat at the ever-popular Rosie, their sister eatery is here to satisfy your hunger. Head next door to Little Rosie for a moreish selection of takeaway goods ready to devour.
So what can you expect from this sweet little café? The unfussy but thoughtfully presented space offers the perfect break from the bustle of the city. Rendered concrete floors, high white brick walls, large open windows and a rotating collection of art are just the beginning. Hot tip: you can also hire it out for your next special event too.
When it comes to food, you’re spoilt for choice. The counter sports a decadent selection of lavishly filled doughnuts, savoury croissants, decadent danishes and more, all supplied fresh by local baking legend Daniel Cruden of The Real Bread Project.
Whether you’re after a cinnamon brioche to go with your morning cuppa or a stuffed sandwich for lunch, you’ll find it here. We’re particularly fond of the ever-rotating range of salads on offer, from hearty kale, egg and pancetta to cauliflower, potato and pea.
There’s also a choice range of hot meals on offer, which we hear are the perfect antidote to when you just don’t feel like cooking dinner. But on a more seasonal front, you might want to swap your espresso for a chilled Allpress cold brew in the summer—sounds like pure bliss.
We can’t think of a more perfect weekend than picking up the goods from Little Rosie and wandering further afield to explore the Parnell Rose Gardens and Judges Bay. Between the lush greenery and seaside views, it makes for the ideal picnic spot. And if you’re wondering how to spend the perfect 12 hours in Parnell, we’ve got you covered here.
