If you’re passing through Hamilton and looking for a good spot to refuel, people always seem to suggest Grey Street Kitchen. A large, fresh space offering their very own Grey Roasting Co. coffee, cabinet food and a variety of exciting smoothies (such as white berry crush and beetroot brownie), this is the sort of place you could turn up to every day and expect to find something a little different. Grey Street Kitchen is a community favourite, serving as a hub for locals, freelancers, or groups coming together for some food and a good yarn.

KeepCups and coffee-making apparatus can be bought here, but if you'd rather leave it to the professionals, the menu features many niche caffeinated options like V60 and iced pour-overs. The cabinet is full of fresh salads and baking made each morning, and a variety of gluten free options are available. You’ll find this cafe on the corner of Grey Street in East Hamilton, a sunny spot with outside tables, free wifi, and lots of space if you are thinking of bringing along a large group. Stop by for a bite and a brew, and you might just realise that Hamilton is cooler than you thought.
