It’s rare for a store to blur the lines between floral studio and community hangout spot, but then Wild River & Co. isn’t your run-of-the-mill florist or gift shop.

At the helm are Dida and Erin, two individuals whose love for florals is only matched by their knack for bringing people together. Add to the mix their resident mascot (a mastiff border collie cross named Boy), and you've got the heart and soul of a place that's as much about the banter as it is about the blooms.

Drag your eyes away from the creative window displays and the store’s aesthetic is a striking blend of untamed natural beauty and thoughtful design. Plentiful greenery cascades from wooden shelves and hanging pots, creating a botanical haven that feels calming to the soul. The choice of wooden accents and earth-toned decor seamlessly marries the store's urban setting with a rustic, wild charm.

Beautifully curated bouquets and diverse floral arrangements with their signature wild aesthetic are only part of what you can expect from Wild River & Co. The shelves brim with unique giftware, thoughtfully sourced from local artisans and New Zealand companies. Every item, from the handmade ceramics to the slightly naughty bespoke cards, speaks to Erin and Dida’s mission to offer something uniquely special to their community.

Wild River & Co. extends their community spirit beyond their storefront. They're renowned for hosting lively workshops, often in collaboration with fellow local businesses, drawing enthusiastic crowds every time. Further championing that local spirit, they source their fresh flowers from the local Waikato growers collective whenever the seasons allow. With Dida and Erin leading the way, Wild River & Co. is more than a shop; it's an integral thread in the community fabric where businesses lift each other up, celebrate local, and foster collaborative growth.
