In true Untouched World style, the Wānaka branch of the fashion brand, with a non-negotiable stance on sustainability and ethics, is nothing short of spectacular. The first and only fashion company in the world to be recognised by the United Nations for sustainability, Untouched World gets things right from the get-go. From sustainably grown fibres, to shoes made with wool from non-mulesed sheep, to Fairtrade certified organic cotton essentials, each and every bit of clothing here is designed to help, not harm the planet.

94% of their clothing is made in Christchurch, most of the knitwear in their own workrooms, and the small amount made overseas is done so by like-minded partners who share in their values in looking after people and planet. Everything is designed to be timeless, stylish, enduring and easy on the earth, and every purchase made helps the Untouched World Foundation educate young people to lead the way toward a more sustainable future.

Alongside their clothing, they stock their own beautiful bespoke kite jewellery made from recycled silver and rose gold by a talented local goldsmith. Maybe you were after a book, ceramics, sustainable skincare, or a hand-poured candle? Untouched World offers a curation of thoughtfully designed and consciously created goodies for you and your home.
