They say that good things come in small packages and Goodness Gracious is no exception. Located at the top of New North Road this café and bagelry is becoming a hot spot for bagel aficionados and café goers alike.
On offer are New York style bagels with a mixture of traditional and unique fillings. All-rounders include ‘The Classic’ with smoked salmon, avocado, rocket and cream cheese, ‘The Cab’ with chicken, avocado, bacon and rocket and ‘The Basic’ with house made five berry jam and lemon curd. For those adventurous folks ‘The Wilbur’ is the way to go – spiced pulled pork, house made slaw and apple chutney. And for the indecisive a sampler of three mini bagels is an option. There are plenty of ‘non-bagel’ menu items are on offer as well, which makes Goodness Gracious a place for everyone. For those in a hurry, takeaway options and online ordering are also available.
Smoothies have become a statement in themselves in Auckland. The highlight at Goodness Gracious? Salted caramel and peanut butter. Perhaps the most heavenly concoction ever. And for those sweet-toothed people out there, Goodness Gracious also serves Bon Bon’s – an espresso shot with sweetened condensed milk and a sprinkling of chocolate.
White tiled walls, wooden tables and black exterior all contribute to the design aesthetic of Goodness Gracious. On a sunny day the customers spill to the outside tables creating a fun and lively atmosphere. Visit for an extended brunch, or a quick coffee, either way, you’ll be thanking Goodness Gracious for their goodness.
Since their inception in 2014 the popularity of their offering has seen them expand into Parnell and Takapuna.
