You’re in safe hands for breakfast, brunch and lunch at Little Poms – with menu items such as house made crumpets, miso cauliflower and cornflake crumbed fried chicken making a second visit compulsory and a third, fourth and fifth vital.

There’s a selection of wine and craft beer here (as one would expect sharing a building with a bar famous for its selection of local and national brews) and to top it off, the team at Little Poms make some knockout cocktails including a tasty bloody mary and a memorable mimosa, both served with plenty of ice and Instagram-worthy flare.

The décor is simple, stylish and cosy and the service always comes with a smile. This is a traditional café in every sense, designed with the community in mind. Guests are encouraged to share the large table near the entrance of the café, and the open kitchen allows you to watch the magic happen or engage in a conversation with the chefs.

Little Poms is a true Christchurch gem and a shining example of just how a neighbourhood cafe should be.
