Nestled in the heart of George Street for over a decade, Georgie Girl is a boutique womenswear store selling preloved designer and vintage clothing. The store’s mission is to offer unique and stylish pieces in a sustainable way, with staff on hand to provide a happy and helpful shopping experience for every visitor.

Kylie, who has owned the store for the past three years, has a keen eye for detail when it comes to filling the racks. The result?  A vibrant mix of tastefully chosen clothing, accessories and jewellery, ensuring there really is something at Georgie Girl for everyone.  If you’re ever unsure, don’t be afraid to ask for help. Kylie loves helping people and has an uncanny ability to pair the perfect piece with the person. The tailored experience offered in store means customers usually leave with a new item to treasure and with a smile on their face.

Kylie always showcases items in their best possible condition, so rest assured that the clothing is freshly washed and steamed before making its way to the rack. The clothes are not on consignment; rather a point of difference for the store is that Georgie Girl purchases the preloved clothing outright from the customer. This means those selling their items are not waiting around for them to be purchased before they get paid.

Georgie Girl is an established keystone of George Street’s vibrant shop and café scene and of Palmerston North’s shopping scene more generally. Check out their social media for the latest in store, or just come and visit next time you are in town.
