FEOH Espresso and Roastery

FEOH Espresso & Roastery is a boutique coffee bar and roastery in the heart of Waipu, dedicated to quality, variety and a deep appreciation for coffee craftsmanship. Founded by a one-man owner-operator, Richard Taiaroa, FEOH is a coffee house in the truest sense, reminiscent of the early pioneers of New Zealand’s coffee scene. This intimate space isn’t designed for large groups, children, or full meals; instead, it’s a meeting hub for like-minded coffee lovers who appreciate the art and ritual of a great brew.

At FEOH, coffee takes centre stage, with a focus on single-origin beans sourced for their exceptional quality, many at competition level. With over 20 single origins available in green bean form, each cup is an exploration of flavour, carefully roasted to order for customers beyond the shop’s own offerings. The philosophy here is simple: variation, variety, and a commitment to doing things differently.

The coffee menu is a testament to innovation, with creations like cold drip on coconut water topped with a nitro cold drip, a soft, refined black coffee alternative that was invented in-house. Other unique offerings include Cà Phê Sữa Đá, salted foam coffee, black lattes, bullet coffee, and vanilla floats alongside a selection of expertly crafted espresso-based drinks. There’s also a small but thoughtful range of in-house-made food, prepared with the same passion and intent as the coffee.
