With a fresh, modern take on farm-to-fork dining, some dishes have earned cult status amongst locals. On a summer’s day, nothing beats the peaches with stracciatella, fennel and confit garlic, served with legendary Ringawera Sourdough. House-crafted cocktails, often infused with creative, in-house blends, add to the magic. 

Owned by Kate Rose, The Farmers daughter was born from a love of honest food. The name is a tribute to Kate’s roots, and its ethos is all about family, farming, and the simple joy of gathering around a table. Ditching the fuss of white tablecloths, it’s all about ‘coming as you are’ to a place where food is grown, gathered and enjoyed.
