Bamboo Sweets is an artisan chocolate shop nestled in Hamilton’s Casabella Lane, dedicated to crafting exceptional chocolates that promise to sweeten your day. With a commitment to using premium ingredients and modern techniques, Bamboo Sweets ensures that every creation is of the highest quality. The focus on small-batch production ensures big, bold flavours in every mouthful, making it a must-visit destination for any chocolate lover.

The offerings at Bamboo Sweets are as varied as they are delectable. The product range includes flavoured bars and truffles along with their speciality: exquisite chocolate bonbons (of which there are 18 unique flavours!), each and every one crafted with meticulous care. Flavours evolve with the seasons and range from fruity to nutty, and some liquor-infused. A best seller is the chilli and sesame chocolate bar, a tantalising mix of sweet, savoury and a bit of a spice. Custom orders are also available, including branded bars and corporate gifts, making it easy to share the indulgence of Bamboo Sweets with others.

George and Heather are the creative minds behind Bamboo Sweets, the pair meeting  while studying together at Le Cordon Bleu in Wellington. Honing their skills in various culinary environments across New Zealand, George and Heather decided to bring their shared dream to life by creating something of their own, which reflected their love for fine ingredients and their desire to innovate.

Bamboo Sweets is more than just a chocolate shop; it's a testament to passion and craftsmanship, a culmination of years of experience and a shared dream. By blending premium ingredients from Belgium, France, and Italy with local produce, George and Heather have created a place where the artistry of fine chocolates is celebrated. Their dedication to flavour experimentation and high quality enables a diverse and delightful destination for chocolate enthusiasts whilst adding a touch of elegance to the local scene.
