Te Pā Tū is a celebration of Māori culture—history, traditions, aspirations, and, of course, kai (cuisine). A four-hour immersion begins with a welcome ceremony, then offers a revitalising kawakawa tonic and kai horotai (canapes) served amidst the forest pā.

Ancient stories and mesmerising performances of kapa haka are shared in the naturally formed amphitheatre before your procession to the wharekai, an elegantly themed dining room.

The Summer Celebration at Te Pā Tū embraces the season's bounty. The Kindred menu pays homage to a global and talented chef team. Each chef has created a unique fusion dish, marrying the flavours, delicacies, and cooking techniques of their own culture with those of Māori origin. Executive Chef Irihei Walker shines with his 24-hour brined confit duck leg, infused with star anise, cinnamon, and rock salt.
Te Pā Tū explores diversity and connection through te ao Māori values of kaitikitanga (guardianship/stewardship) and manaakitanga (honouring people).

The experience evolves with the seasons, so no two visits will be alike—a cultural and culinary experience you will never forget.
