Bowls of hot sticky rice, thick udon noodles and hot miso broth sound like your kind of thing? Then you best get yourself down to Yamoto, a humble little eatery less about blowing its own trumpet, and more about blowing you away with its tasty Japanese food. Authentic through and through and taking the idea of an open-plan kitchen to new levels, means Yamoto is one of those places that you can trust from the get go. Sit around the U-shaped bar and watch the chefs slice sashimi and roll sushi with expert grace - plus we reckon there’s nothing like watching your food be prepared to really get the anticipation going.
Kimono-wearing smiley staff, complimentary green tea and the freshest fish you’ll taste, all round out an authentic Japanese experience at Yamoto.
